A most impressive winner of the four-year-old maiden at Tattersalls. This €60,000 three-year-old purchase had jumped and travelled with ease throughout the contest but on the turn towards home it looked as though Since Day One, who was running a big race, was set to provide a stern challenge. At this point Jamie Codd asked his mount for effort and the response was immediate. He quickly opened up a gap of 12 lengths over his nearest rival and the clock further confirmed the class of the effort being twelve seconds faster than the average time on the day and an exceptional twenty five seconds faster than the five-year-old maiden half an hour later. He is by Walk In The Park out of a winning Cadoudal mare and looks a hugely exciting prospect for the future. It is notable that he has achieved an exceptional rating of 95+ for this performance which puts him on the same level at this stage of his career as Envoi Allen, Ballyadam, Malone Road, Know The Score and others so all the signs are suggesting this fellow could go all the way.
