Vendor's Notes: A good-sized, correct, attractive and well-bred 5-year-old mare by the outstanding sire Make Believe, D Flawless is offered for sale in full training with a very genuine reason for sale. She is suitable for Racing OR Breeding.

She is a very sound filly, a pleasure to have around the yard, and I genuinely couldn't recommend her highly enough. Whether that be to race on or as a broodmare, she represents a rare & fantastic opportunity. She is an exciting prospect for either discipline and is exactly the type of mare that is becoming increasingly difficult to source on or off the track.

As A Racing Prospect...

D Flawless is a two-time winner who arrives in excellent form. On her most recent start, just a few weeks ago, she finished third in a £16,500 handicap, with the first two home having already gone on to frank the form.

>She has been running consistently well all season and, despite not getting the rub of the green on a few occasions, has continued to perform with great credit. She has been in the frame in every start this year and looks very much a winner waiting to happen from her current handicap mark.

Now racing from 11lb below her career-high Official Rating of 83, she appears extremely well treated and, based on the level of her homework at home, which is well beyond her rating, she remains very well handicapped.

Her victory at Newcastle in a £15,000 contest was particularly impressive, travelling strongly throughout before putting the race to bed with authority and winning with plenty in hand.

>She is versatile regarding conditions, she is effective from 5 furlongs to 1 mile, with her optimum trip lying around 6-7 furlongs. She enjoys good ground on turf and has also proven herself to be very effective on the All-Weather.

As A Breeding Prospect...

From a breeding perspective, D Flawless offers a rare opportunity to acquire a mare from an elite Prince Faisal family that is continuing to improve with every passing season.

She is herself a two-time winner with a peak Official Rating of 83, bringing both pedigree and proven race performance to the breeding shed.

Her half-sister REMAAT (by Kodiac) is Group 3 (English Guineas Trial) placed and has been retained to join Prince Faisal's broodmare band (& was covered this year in March), while another half-sister, CELESTRA, is a winner and remains in training with John & Thady Gosden.

Her dam, SAVAANAH, is black type, having earned multiple Stakes placings during her racing career. Remarkably, she has produced three foals to race and all three are winners, an outstanding record that speaks for itself.

The future of this family looks exceptionally bright & it will continue to get better & better. Savaanah has a yearling full-sister (Make Believe) to D Flawless currently on the ground who, at present, I understand is set to be retained and raced by Prince Faisal. She also has a filly foal by the HUGELY exciting young stallion Blackbeard and is back in foal to Mishriff, meaning that resulting foal will be a three-quarter sibling to D Flawless. With Savaanah still a young mare, there remains tremendous scope for the family to continue strengthening through future runners and the covering selections for her dam, Savaanah are very good & being with such a powerful outfit gives you every chance.

The second dam, Tanouma, also remains very much an active producer. She has a very well liked two-year-old currently in training in Britain, together with a yearling by the exciting young sire Shaquille, who sold for 22k as a foal, & is currently heading towards the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale (Part 1).

As a race mare, she remains well handicapped, is in excellent form and looks capable of winning more races in the near future.
