Stretchemout is a daughter of Kingston Hill with a progressive profile. Making her debut on quicker conditions at Bartlemy, she showed the benefit of that initial experience in the spring, as she returned to action at Peppard’s Castle last month, when pitched in against geldings in an auction maiden on just her second career start. The heavy ground proved to be no challenge to her, as racing from the front, she was one of two horses that were able to quicken to the home straight, but she had to show her toughness after she met the last wrong, losing valuable momentum as a result. However, to her credit, she rallied gamely to get back in front and win by just under a length.
