There was no doubting the superiority of Ksar D’Oudairies as he made an emphatic debut at Castletown-Geoghegan. A €58,000 purchase from the store sales, it was not hard to see why connections made that investment, as the French-bred son of Castle Du Berlais was an undoubted eye-catcher in the paddock ahead of his competitive bow. That translated to the track, as he travelled within his comfort zone throughout, jumping to the front at the penultimate fence, and from there he simply extended his advantage, powering clear of a previously-placed €78,000 store purchase to record a 12-length debut victory in the quickest time on the card. That ticks all the boxes and bodes extremely well for his future.
