A debutante winning daughter of Shantou is something of a collector’s item given the sire was the only one to provide more than one Cheltenham Festival winner in 2023. Out of a winning Alflora mare she scored on debut at Loughanmore and saw off the previously placed Ambush Annie all the way to the line by a length. Her lack of experience when compared to the runner up and third did not come against her suggesting she may well have the class her pedigree and now winning debut suggests she does.
