A fine debut by this well-bred five-year-old who is out of a three times winning mare. He ran with great credit at Loughanmore when beaten a fraction over two lengths by the Wilson Dennison charge Unionhill and looked one who would progress considerably from the run. He was engaged with a battle with the winner from a long way out and although headed after two out he dropped his head and showed an exceptional attitude all the way to the line in defeat.
