This tough son of Malinas is effectively twice proven in maidens. At Loughrea on debut he was very much in the driving seat after jumping the second last before being carried out on the home turn by a riderless horse. Less than a month later he turned out again in a Damma House maiden and made all the running in very testing conditions. He had most of the field under pressure from a long way out but Oscars Brother who had been second on each of his previous starts looked a big threat when delivered to challenge in the home straight. This winner was too tough for him and picked up strongly again to win by over two lengths. The form of this race stands up to all scrutiny and the manner of the performance merely enhances his credentials. This looks the sort of horse who will win a lot of races.
