A convincing two and a half-length winner of her maiden at Lisronagh this mare was merely building on the considerable promise she had indicated in the Spring when second on debut at Stowlin behind the impeccably bred Dream Shadow. At Lisronagh she made the progression to the winners enclosure in what appeared to be a very much above average maiden. It was run in a time ten seconds faster than the average time on the day but the real eye-catching element of this success was the ease she cruised into contention on the turn for home. It was effortless for her to move into a challenging position and she duly drew clear when asked on the home run. She is a sister to Blacklough and out of a winning sister to Goonyella so class and toughness appear a given on this pedigree.
