A fine son of Beat Hollow who made a big impression when catching the eye on debut last Sunday at Dromahane. The winner had the benefit of a previous run while the second had been third previously behind two subsequent winners including the unbeaten bumper winner Dom Of Mary. Kilfilum Woods was produced with his challenge rounding the home bend when taking a share of the lead entering the straight in a competitive heat. An awkward leap at the third-last did put him on the back foot but he rallied strongly, so much so that he only lost the runners-up spot in the dying strides. His dam is a sister to Farmer Jack and the page includes a long list of high class NH performers including Second Schedual, Ottawa, Frickley and Calling Brave. He is sure to improve notably from this outing and enjoy a successful career.
