This son of Conduit ran a cracker on debut at Tattersalls when racing close to the pace and leading for most of the journey and running out of room on the run to the final fence. The eventual winner showed signs of greenness going to the last intimidating this debutante who went the wrong side of the wing but through no fault of his own. He had already shown his level of ability at this point and furthermore the way he travelled up the straight alongside the winner having had to take such evasive action was commendable and impressive also. He is out of a sister to a one time champion point to point mare Burnt Oil Babe and looks a ready made sort for bumpers and a career over hurdles where his speed and talent will serve him well.
