Lifetime Ambition made a very favourable impression to finish a close second on his debit performance at Loughanmore back in October. The son of Kapgarde showed the benefit of that run when he assumed command to lead with a circuit to go and his slick jumping from this point put many of his rivals on the back foot thereafter. The brown-gelding is a choicely-bred sort, from the family of the nine-time winner Si Tu Viens as well as Grade one winner J’Y Vole and he had his race in safe-keeping well before the last here where he produced another efficient leap suggesting there was plenty left in the tank. A €40,000 store purchase, Lifetime Ambition looks set to progress from this experience and may well develop into a smart sort under rules in the future.
