Brave Way was never too far from the pace when she made her debut at Knockinroe in a ten-runner contest. Jumping particularly well on the inside of runners, the daughter of Jeremy made her way to the front after the second last, and from there she had to prove her toughness to overcome the challenge of the well-touted favourite Upton Lady, with Brave Way getting the better of the exchanges by a length. From the stable that sent out recent Munster National winner Cabaret Queen to win a similar four-year-old mares’ maiden at Dromahane, she would look to be the latest smart sort to emerge from Warren Ewing’s yard.
