Midway Getaway made a very promising debut at Moig South only succumbing to a more experienced well-bred type in Immortality. The Mick Murphy-trained daughter of Getaway was certainly an eye-catcher for the rapid progress that she made on the climb to the second-last fence to come from off the pace into a challenging position and did her utmost to reel in the front-running winner. Only beaten two lengths at the line, this bay mare will have gained plenty from her debut outing and looks a smart individual for the future.
