The highly thought of Immortality made a lasting impression when taking the five-year-old mares’ maiden at Moig South. The well-bred daughter of Spanish Moon, who is a full sister to Willie Mullins star mare Laurina caught the eye as she was bounced out and made all the running, she travelled very strongly throughout while also displaying a number of good jumps. Ridden by Jamie Codd the French-bred mare showed a very smart turn of foot when she readily pulled clear from the penultimate fence and the manner in which she travelled was particularly eye-catching, suggesting she had plenty left in the tank. Immortality is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and looks to be a high class addition to the catalogue who should be added to every serious short list.
