Adjourned is an impeccably bred son of Rip Van Winkle who couldn’t have been more impressive when running away with the “Newcomers” NH Flat Race at Southwell on 10th October. The three-year-old tanked his way through the race and led on the bridle two furlongs from home before being ridden clear to win in facile fashion by 6 lengths at the line. Out of a black type mare he looks a very exciting prospect going forward in the National Hunt sphere.
