Take It Away made a very favourable impression when taking the four-year-old mares’ maiden at Dromahane in emphatic fashion. The winner was having just her second start, as the daughter of Yeats had made a pleasing debut at Moig South last Spring, before having a summers’ break. Making her seasonal reappearance here, Denis Murphy’s four-year-old jumped and travelled well before catching the eye travelling very smoothly into the contest at the penultimate obstacle. From here the €22,000 Derby Sale graduate showed a very smart turn of foot, quickening up to win by 12 lengths. On this evidence she could be black type potential under rules.
