Mister Tickle made the perfect start to his racing career by making a winning debut at Lisronagh on Saturday. The son of Morozov was patiently ridden by Harley Dunne, before beginning to take closer order over the course of the final mile. His challenge really began to step up a gear when making good ground around the tight bottom bend, despite being forced to go three wide around it, which allowed him to be delivered into the second position. From that point, the strong gallop began to take its toll on his rivals, as he was the only horse capable of raising his effort further to go with the pace-setter, and that would prove to be to his ultimate benefit, as he managed to get the better jump at the last, to come home in front in a good debut performance. Takingly, the front pair pulled some 12 lengths clear of their rivals.
