Robin Des Sivola took a very big step forward at Necarne last May, when looking set to go very close, only to come down at the final fence, whilst disputing the lead at the time. The horse she was upsides at the time, Methodtothemadness, entered the race with a notable form line alongside recent first time out bumper winner Mega Yeats from Monksgrange, and Robin Des Sivola backed that up when reappearing at Toomebridge. Going on at the first of the three fences in the back straight, the daughter of Robin Des Champs, soon showed her class, returning a clear six-length winner over the previously placed Quivvy Lough.
