A very interesting sort who ran into two very decent sorts at Tralee. This was a race run in a very fast time. It was ultimately sixteen seconds faster than the average time on the day and an enormous thirty four seconds faster than the mares race run half an hour earlier. Turning for home the exciting winner City Chief and the 62,000 store Knowsley Road along with this son of September Storm all drew clear. This fellow lead to the last and was still very close within two lengths at the line. Of the three he looked a little more green than that of his two rivals, pointing to more likely future improvement so he could be one to take from this race to go on to better things. His dam won five times for Kim Bailey giving further confidence that this fellow could be very smart.
