A notably promising debut effort at Stradbally when finishing a close second and staying on strongly. He was ridden close to a slower than normal early pace and whilst a close third three out he lost position going to the second last showing signs of greenness. A closer look a the video clearly shows that once he turned for home and became balanced he ran on very strongly in the closing stages and had to be brave to come through horses and get closest to the winner. Given the way this race was run which ensured speed was paramount this fellow can be counted on to drop back in trip as required but it should be noted that he looks open to any amount of improvement based on the evidence of this video. His dam is a dual winner on the level and there is ample speed on his pedigree which further point to him being able to show his versatility over a range of distances.
