A debut winner of her maiden at Tattersalls when seeing off the very highly regarded Electoral Lady in a brave battle to the line. This daughter of Fame and Glory was ridden close to the pace and her bravery and jumping stood out. She was not left to her own devices up front and had to fight her corner at every stage but the way in which she jumped herself into control of the race and more tellingly how she battled once challenged from the second last were quite taking. She showed the sort of attitude which a purchaser always likes to see before buying a mare and one which almost guarantees she will bring her ‘A’ game to the races at every opportunity. It is worth noting that the early pace of this race was not strong so it required quite an amount of speed to hold position in the latter part of the race and this would suggest that this mare can step back notably in trip and it would be no surprise to see her contesting a bumper in the near future with a leading role.
