A thoroughly game performer who had to be strong at the finish to come out on top in a blanket finish at Stradbally. With the placed horses trained by Bowe, Murphy and Doyle this is a maiden which clearly had considerable depth. A slow early pace had ensured there were plenty with chances later on in the race and speed was required to come out on top and this fellow was the one with the best turn of foot late on which will open up options further on in his career. The third, fifth and sixth all brought previous placed form to this contest so this winner must be respected for quickening up as he did. Furthermore he was clearly somewhat green at the back of the second last and is open to further improvement.
