The Donnchadh Doyle-trained French Dynamite made an impressive debut in the second division of the four-year-old maiden at Tralee when winning by a comfortable length and a half. The son of Kentucky Dynamite hit the front three-out under the guidance of Rob James and forged clear in the home straight to see off a couple of more experienced rivals. Purchased for €32,000 at Arqana as a two-year-old, French Dynamite is out of a half-sister to a dual point-to-point winner. The bay looks set to progress for this experience and may well develop into a smart sort under rules in the future.
