Presenting Leah made a very promising debut at Oldcastle when finishing second to Illuminated Beauty in a competitive five-and-six-year-old mares’ maiden. The Cian Hughes-trained runner travelled well throughout behind the leaders before progressing to dispute the lead at the last where the daughter of Presenting rallied well on the flat and was just denied by a length at the finish over a more experienced rival. Presenting Leah is from a stellar black-type family as she is a half-sister to the four-time Grade one winner Bellshill. Presenting Leah highlighted herself as an exciting mare who is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.
