Dipsophobia made a highly promising introduction to his career when narrowly losing out in the Open Maiden point-to-point at Tabley on 20th May for trainer Peter Fahey. The 4yo son of Shirocco out of a winning Rashar mare tracked the early leader and went to the front after 3 out before making a bad blunder at the last fence and losing out by only 1 3/4 lengths in a driving finish on the run to the line. A half brother to De Rasher Counter a dual winner under rules he looks to possess all the right attributes to make his own mark between the rails for new connections.
