Highflyer Bloodstock (P.S.)
Price:
£40,000

Description

Famous Saying ran a cracker when second on his debut in a four-year-old maiden at Ballindenisk. By the promising sire, Ask, Milvale was waited in rear before making progress on the final mile where the Stuart Crawford-trained gelding went third approaching the penultimate fence and jumped right at the final obstacle which gave his rival the upper-hand on the run but battled well in the closing stages to take the runner-up spot, a head behind the winner. One of five newcomers in the race, Milvale is a half-brother to the former Welsh Grand National winner, Emperor’s Choice as well as being out of a half-sister to the dual Grade one winner, Our Vic. Having posted such a strong run, this well-bred gelding lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster with a lot to offer it seems.
