Always travelling well throughout he was going much the best turning into the home straight but was forced to pull out all the stops by the battle hardened market leader inthe final furlong. The son of Yeats battled all the way to the line to win going away despite still showing signs of greeness. Two subsequent winners have come out the race namely Cornelius Sulla the subsequent winner of his bumper at Killarney and Los Alamos the impressive 11 length winner of his bumper at Punchestown.
