The nicely-bred Ifyoucatchmenow took a good step forward from her debut at Monksgrange when getting off the mark on her very next outing at Bartlemy. Patiently ridden, the Westerner made very smooth progress from the third-last to take a closer position. Just off the heels of the leader by the next fence, she easily made her way to the front at the last and almost immediately had the race sewn up as she won with plenty in the bag. Such was her authority by the line that she is value for further than the two-length official margin suggests. The form of the race looks strong with the runner-up, the Donnachadh Doyle-trained Tillythetank having finished placed behind Princess Roxy, a mare who realized £115,000 subsequently in this sales ring, whilst the third-placed Asking A Lot was in front when coming down three-out at Inch on debut. This all points to an above average winning mare.
