Tintara had suffered a luckless start to her career as she was an early faller in each of her first two outings at Tullaherin and Necarne; however, she put that right at Ballycrystal last Sunday on her first start in eight months. Here, she once again raced from the front, dictating what was a relatively steady tempo. That resulted in the field being tightly grouped with half-a-mile, however she picked up well turning out of the back straight when one of two horses to pull clear. Although no match for the eventual winner from the second-last, she kept on to only go down by four lengths at the line. This was a very promising way to kickstart her new campaign, and one that she can certainly build from.
