Fedneys Park showed the benefit of competing on better ground conditions, as having finished third behind the now Huntingdon listed bumper winner Supreme Malinas on Heavy ground at Ballyknock in the spring, she seems much more at home on the Yielding to Soft surface most recently. Tactics were immediately clear from the drop of the flag as she was immediately sent to the front of the field, a position that she never surrendered. Three rivals loomed behind her at the bottom of the hill, but some swift leaps over the first two climbing fences saw her bound clear to prevail comfortably by six lengths. This €50,000 store purchase is clearly improving.
