It was the pace and natural speed of this daughter of Getaway which came out on top and saw off her rivals. A slight error two out may have proven costly had she not had so much in reserve but once clearing the last it was obvious that this mare was a class above her rivals as she quickened away readily to score. Out of an Oscar mare is the same cross as Sporting John and Getaway fillies have been excelling of late with this being another potential top performer. It is further worth noting that this equivalent maiden was won twelve months earlier by the as yet unbeaten Halka Du Tarbert.
