Lesser heads to the sales following his success at Ballycrystal in a competitive six-year-old geldings’ maiden on what was his first start between the flags. The Kevin O’Donnell-trained gelding made good headway when coming from off the pace, before progressing to lead from the second last fence where he quickly gained a strong advantage over his rivals, to go on and record an impressive six-length success, with a further five lengths back to the third placed finisher. This well-bred son of Stowaway, who is out of Aine Dubh, the Bob Back mare that twice finished placed in Grade 2 company at Aintree, highlighted himself as an exciting sort and appears to be a decent looking prospect, who looks like he is set to further add to this winning family when he makes his progression to the track.
