Aeropress shaped with considerable promise on her debut at Lisronagh. The daughter of Affinisea travelled smoothly into contention before taking up the running after two out and quickening on the approach to the final fence. Still holding a narrow advantage, she blundered badly at the last and unseated her rider a few strides later when looking the likely winner. Out of the winning Flemensfirth mare Why Not Thistle, she hails from a family that includes multiple National Hunt winners such as Irish Thistle and Aengus. On the evidence of this initial effort, she looks a very promising type who should have little difficulty gaining compensation and is capable of progressing to the track in time.
