Clondaw Park faced 11 rivals in the first four-year-old mares’ maiden of 2025 at Lisronagh last month and she created a big impression, winning it easily by eight lengths. Making all of the running, she controlled the relatively steady tempo given the underfoot conditions. She still had any number of rivals in pursuit of her at the home bend, but it was from here that she was able to show the pace that she had as she swiftly went through the gears to turn the race into an extremely one-sided affair. The manner in which the daughter of Walk In The Park was able to open up in between the final two fences was very impressive and she has to be considered an extremely exciting potential recruit.
