Race times are something which can be viewed in many ways but when a horse goes by the line twelve seconds faster than the average on the day and all of ten seconds faster than the opening division of this race it forces purchasers to sit up and take notice. The likely winner of this race was Joe Dadancer who raced on the front end and this fellow came from well off the pace to close the gap on this impressive and well regarded five year old before being left with the lead at the final obstacle. It is indicative of how strong the pace of this race was that this fellow managed to clock such an impressive time in the circumstances. His enthusiasm for racing was clearly illustrated here and should be no surprise as his dam was a six timers winner herself winning a bumper, over hurdles and also fences.
