An impressive winner of a very competitive maiden at Lingstown last Sunday. The runner up is a sister to Soaring Glory and had been second on her debut but even that advantage could not overcome this daughter of Shirocco who won with an amount in hand. She found the pace throughout and was always catching the eye which the commentator noted at the third last. She was close to the heels of the leaders at the second last before O’Connor let her stretch down the hill to the last and the response was instant as she lead at the last and kept on strongly to the line. It was very taking to watch her find so generously after the last suggesting there is a lot of further improvement to come. A mare with a big performance but a page to match as she is out of a sister to the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner up Harbour Pilot. She is also a sister to the Grade one performing Glamorgan Duke so looks set to be a high class mare on all evidence to date.
