A hugely impressive winner of his debut outing at Lisronagh. From a long way out this son of the great Milan was always finding the pace of the race very much within his comfort zone and he was getting his rider to the front over a mile from home but by plotting a wide course he managed to restrain this talented youngsters effort until the run to the second last. Once unleashed the response was instant and he quickly opened up a clear gap to his rivals and stamped his authority on a top class contest. The time of the race was nine seconds faster than the average yet he always seemed comfortable and in truth looked as though he would have appreciated an even stronger pace. He has the size, scope and ability to go to the very top and looks destined for a future at the very top of the National Hunt ladder. It is worth noting that this brother to three winners saw off a very highly regarded 145k store suggesting this was a race with undeniable depth.
