The Colin Bowe-trained Telmesomethinggirl got off the mark at the first time of asking when taking the four-year-old maiden at Ballinaboola. A €39,000 graduate of the inaugural Tattersalls May Sale, the daughter of Stowaway was never too far away from the pace under Barry O’Neill and jumped notably well throughout. Having travelled very strongly into the contest, the good-looking bay quickened clear on the run to the line, coming home largely unchallenged. Considering that this debutant was competing against the opposite sex here, this was a very likable performance from a four-year-old that should develop into a decent type for new connections.
