The Peter Flood-trained Enjoy D’Allen got off the mark at the second time of asking when taking the five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Tinahely by a comprehensive eight lengths. The son of Network made a promising debut at Ballinaboola earlier in the month, when finishing a fine second despite not enjoying the clearest of runs. Clearly improving from that experience, the €50,000 Derby Sale graduate was once again ridden by Jamie Codd in Tinahely. Settled in mid division, the bay cruised into the contest before staying on gamely in the closing stages to record an impressive success. Going forward this good-looking sort will surely win plenty of races for new connections.
