Largy Silver opened his account on his very first attempt with a winning debut at Tyrella last month. Always to the fore, he made his way to the front of the field early on the final circuit, and despite a whole host of dangers sitting behind him exiting out of the back straight, he quickened smartly, finding plenty for pressure to defeat his stablemate by a length. A half-brother to Largy Star, a dual point winner in the autumn, who finished second in a Naas bumper recently, a promising future looks to lie ahead.
