This son of Gleneagles was a fine third at Tyrella to Bective Abbey and was only beaten seven lengths on a course which requires a lot of speed to compete. He then went to Oldtown where stamina is key and it was he who stayed on best of all in the closing stages to close the gap to the winner to just half a length as he powered home from the second last. He is clearly a strong stayer with a good attitude but unsurprisingly when looking at his pedigree and debut run he is also a horse with ample speed to drop back in trip.
