By finishing a close third in the opening four-year-old maiden of the season at Ballinaboola this son of the great Milan now has the same CV as the impressive Supreme Novice hurdle winner Appreciate It who chased home Envoi Allen in this maiden a few years previously. A maiden always worth nothing this fellow was well able to hold his own. For an opening weekend maiden it seemed to have considerable depth with seven runners facing the starter and six passing the judge. There was much speed required on this fast circuit and this played to this fellow strength. His stride never shortened on the run to the line and he looks a youngster who will find notable improvement from this top debut.
