A very smart youngster who was well regarded and supported on his debut at Punchestown in a top maiden. He was clearly learning throughout this contest as his jumping was clean but improving from a speed and accuracy point of view as the race progressed. He put himself in a challenging position two out but got in very close to the final fence and lost momentum. He recovered notably well and quickened up sharply to the line. Only the Brian Acheson owned 170k store Undeniable Alibi managed to finish in front of him in what looked a top maiden and this fellow, although a runner up on debut, could be a very high class recruit. He is a 42k store out of a winning flat mare and looks to have plenty of speed but stayed on strongly after the line galloping out strongly long past the winning post.
