An exceptionally positive effort on debut by this son of Diamond Boy who was challenging strongly for victory before exiting nearing the final fence. Making his debut at Nenagh he was engaging in a battle with the more experienced and proven winner Mossy Fen Park after the second last fence. The pair were quickening impressively clear of their rivals when this fellow lost his footing and stumbled and exited the contest. The winner won by eighteen lengths having been fourth on debut at Ballinaboola so this looked a top performer for this debutante to be chasing down. He is out of a sister to Mon Mome and looks a very smart youngster.
