A very taking performance by this classy son of Shantou on debut. He is out of an Old Vic mare and therefore represents one of the best crosses in the book which is unlikely ever to come to public auction again. It is the same cross as Punitive, Sporting Ace and many other winners. An unusual sort as he was catalogued as a four-year-old in the 2022 store sales he was somewhat green from the second last but once challenged at the last he picked up powerfully to the line and looks a very classy sort. A fine physical he is a talented sort with a very big future it would seem.
