In a very competitive Kirkistown contest where five landed alongside at the third last and plenty more held chances this son of Sageburg always caught the eye. As all those around him began to feel the pinch and come under pressure it was clear this this fellow in pink colours down the inside was always travelling strongly simply waiting for room to allow him to go forward. Once the opportunity presented itself this fellow soon changed gears and went clear of his rivals. He had the race under control at the final fence and while he idled close home the result was never in doubt. The ability he has to travel within himself when those around him struggle is the cruising speed which allow him to progress to the next level. He is a brother to the black type performer In The Rough and from the family of Champion Hurdle winner Classical Charm.
