I Hope Star made the perfect start to his career when recording an impressive victory on his debut in the Standard Open National Hunt race at Lingfield on 7 January. The four-year-old son of Casamento travelled nicely and quickened up in eye catching style on the turn for home to win going away in good style. He clearly possesses gears and the size and scope to go on over obstacles when the time is right for new connections.
