Home Farm House made her debut a winning one when taking the five-and-six-year-old mares’ maiden at Knockmullen House in February. The daughter of Winged Love benefited from a well-judged ride by James Walsh as she was ridden in mid-division for much of the contest. The Kieran Roche-trained mare then began to stamp her authority turning into the home straight and a better jump at the second last fence saw her take the lead on landing, where she then assumed command, storming clear of runner-up Megan’s Marvel to win by three lengths. She is out of a half-sister to two-time winning mare Ardmillan and is also a full sister to two-time points winner, Pennyforapound. This eye-catching five-year-old highlighted herself as an exciting sort, who will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard.
