Youngoconnor is being offered for sale having shown notable improvement in three starts on the pointing circuit. The daughter of Kalanisi made her seasonal reappearance at Aghabullogue where she picked up the running before the last and finished a creditable third. Having gained some strong experience on her opening two starts, Youngoconnor’s latest start at Nenagh in January saw her finish runner-up to the improved Lady Writer. Making up ground on the final mile, Youngoconnor progressed to second from the third last fence where she took up the lead approaching the straight and was just headed at the final fence but ran on gamely in what was testing ground conditions. From the family of Grade one winner, Conna Castle, Youngoconnor will surely not be waiting long to enter the winners enclosure.
