Some Operator produced a very taking debut performance at Tallow in February in the four-year-old maiden on what was the opening weekend of this age category. Ridden prominently throughout, the son of September Storm travelled strongly on the final mile where he progressed to lead from the final fence and kept on gamely in the closing stages to hold onto the victory by a length over the runner-up who was a favourite from the Denis Murphy yard.From the family of the Grade three placed Araucaria and the Grade two placed Marlbrook, Some Operator is also related to the Listed and 12-time winner Corbiere. Some Operator highlighted himself as a game and tough individual who is bred to develop into a smart track sort which makes him an exciting addition to the sale.
